Did we give him more leeway to go forward when Keane came on ?

Towards the end of the game when Grealish was being more of a tart than usual I said to my lad that somebody (other than Patterson) needs to leave one on him. Was less than 5 seconds later and Tarks gave him a big nudge off the ball. Top Captain stuff imo

God knows what happened with him today. Very unlike him.

Our CBs cannot manage a back 5. Has to just stick with him and Branthwaite and stop forcing Keane in, we look much better with an extra man in midfield.

Look at the positions he is in because of the need to play Keane in the center, a defender with no recovery pace can't be in those situations without being perfect.

Poor game for him, but was inflicted on him a bit by the manager

Worst game I've seen Tarkowski play for us but at the same time been a great signing, very consistent and for me the 5 at the back does not suit us.

He's a defender of yesteryear in being all thunder and guts but technically he's pretty poor. His temperament endears him to fans but reality is that he is a Championship level defender IMO.

It’s mental dyche thinks 2 centre backs who’ve formed a very good relationship,
Will all of sudden be great in the wide positions in a back 3 and getting dragged to the flanks

I've noticed that, for some reason, James Tarkowski has been quite confrontational of late, going in with some dodgy tackles, arguing with opposition players and referees etc., still one of our top performers though.

Good. No one else does. And it's not been of late he's done that his entire career.
