Sadly yes. Small squad starting to be exposed. The midfield is a concern.

At least Chelsea did us a favour, unlike Newcastle. Palace v Brentford at the weekend, Luton home to Chelsea and Burnley away to Villa. Hopefully we get some results in our favour. If Chelsea can beat Luton or avoid defeat we won't finish the year in the bottom 3 which looked unlikely after the 10 point deduction.

Christmas period is always difficult for small squads, once we start going to 1 game a week hopefully we can stay fit and fresh

Think there's potential for us to get drawn back in but also pull away again. That great run of form probably isn't a true reflection of our squad but neither is that terrible start to the season.

I didn't think so before tonight especially after the away performance to Spurs following two soft goals, but the lack of quality especially in possession was both disturbing and disappointing tonight.

Last 6 games is an interesting form guide as such
We have 12 points
Luton 9
Burnley 7
Sheff utd 4
Forest 4
Palace 3
Brentford 3

They are all likely to pick up poor points returns too. We will finish 13/14 with no points returned .

Fully agree about the midfield and Gueye. I'm not a massive fan of Doucoure as an actual footballer but he's exceptionally effective in the modern game and 1 goal every 3 games is fantastic.

We’ve won 8 games in the first half of the season, probably just need 5 or 6 in the second half to be safe and that’s without getting any points back.
