Good first half display.
Contained the inevitable City possession and did the job up front with the few chances we made.
Will be happy if the second half is the same, although watching us defend against the expected onslaught and possession again is not good for the cardiovascular system.
DCL would be a good option for the second half, with his hold up play working to get us out of our box and up the field to snatch the odd break.

We’ve had to ride our luck and we’ll have to ride our luck again in the 2nd half but getting that goal just gives us something. Without Doucoure we‘re struggling to get anybody near or beyond Beto but we’ve had a few set-pieces and I feel we need another to get out of here with something.

Nice to have DCL on the bench but make sure those thigh muscles are warm before he’s introduced.

Can someone tell me why Rodri wasn't booked there ? Patterson booked for doing what City have done on a couple of occasions this half. Played really well and if not for a fantastic save off Ederson could have been two.
