You can count on one hand how many times he has " been done" ( they all do ) this season yet again you justify why Young is playing ahead if him.
Dyche has been fantastic but that doesn't mean he has this call right.

We have a really good talented young full back here that does not let us down yet needs game time, thats the managers choice & I accept that, doesn't mean I have to agree with it.

I think he has a lot of talent, in fact i watched him a fair bit underage before he came here, he has a lot more in his locker particularly offensively then he’s shown. The balance isn’t there in his game to enable his talent yet, nor is his awareness or expierence. I’m frustrated by his development and in a way frustrated in the club and I hope we don’t fail him - I strongly believe he needs games to develop, as Branthwaite did and got. He needs a loan for me. He has lapses in most games, but I expect nothing else given miles on the clock.

Look you disagree with Dyche that’s fine - you’d play him, I can understand why he doesn’t - but that a bit irrelevent really.

The only show town is making sure Nathan is ready for Aug next year as a potential starting right full, he won’t get the games or expierence here he needs by the looks of it in the next 6 months, therefore I think a loan would be good for him and us.

Wherever you fall on Patterson’s potential one thing everyone can agree on is a settled side playing like we are now is the ideal situation for any young player to come into & get the experience he needs.

It’s on him to keep listening to whatever Dyche is telling him, take the spot & hold it. Like the other lads around his age are doing.

Think the lads got a decision to make if he cant cement a place in the team over the festive period.
Dyche has shown that if you come in and perform, you keep your place.
But he has also shown that he prefers both Young & Coleman over him so far.
With the right back spot for Scotland also up for grabs in the summer, can he risk potentially being 3rd choice right back from January-May?
A Coleman to Blackpool style loan could help, dependant on what Dyche thinks the liklihood of him needing/using him is

Not thinking a player is very good based on performances is not racist.

However, there are posters in here who have hated on a player before he kicked a ball for us and have had thread bans due to their views. Saying that, I’ve never called anyone a racist or a bigot in here but the bans would indicate there is evidence.
