You can't fault the fitness of the players and that's down to him. Would be surprised if there are any other PL teams where they work as hard as we do. Even the likes of DCL are working so so hard off the ball, you can forgive that lack of a little bit of quality on it. As much as I'd love him to come back and be a success, it's hard to imagine Dele ever getting up to the levels of fitness that he'd need to have to displace Doucs. Hearing him yelling out to Doucoure reminds me of watching One man and his dog as a kid - "COME-BY Doucs, GET BACK, GET BACK". Splendid stuff.

Mask slipped a bit in the interviews today. Didn’t hide behind the cliches and carefully chosen words too much, talked effusively for 15 minutes because he’s clearly so proud of the squad, his staff and probably himself. Keep it going. Its a constant battle, but showing signs of doing an incredible job at the moment.
Ignoring what he may have changed about the players in terms of quality/ability, he’s made them likeable. Something we have been craving. Must be a lot easier for our travelling fans going down to Bournmouth/Brighton etc to watch players they no longer HATE, which has been the case for a long while.
