Actually can see Forest sacking Cooper and Palace immediately politely asking Roy to step down (which surely has to be the plan given he's 76).

In other seasons Palace would be in thick of relegation battle. They're certainly as bad as they were when they sacked Vieria which I still think was premature.

They're a bit of a rudderless club currently but they interviewed Cooper in summer 2021 and he'd do o.k with Olise and Eze in the final third so seems a good move for both parties especially to do it this season with how bad the promoted clubs are.

….i think we have to be prepared for Burnley, Luton and even Sheff Utd to go on decent runs but if we can accumulate 3 more points than those clubs by the end of the season we’ll be safe.

I do expect other clubs to be drawn into it but our task is to win that mini-league.
I think we'll get 4 points back after three appeal..

Fulham's demolition job on Forest is a bit of a reality check on our win there last Saturday. Forest are currently very out of form

It certainly is, but it's also plain that as things stand, Forest are in the relegation mix-up also. That can only be good from our perspective. It is not a case of 3 from 4 for the drop.

They're loads better at home vs away though. They rely on their home form more than most. This was them last season;

Changing managers is fraught with danger. Especially at Forest and Palace where both incumbent managers are so popular.

It's not a given that they'll get a boost from sacking their managers.
