Not convinced. City look like the rs did last season. A team that spent a lot of energy and doesn't have the stomach to do it again.
Nah.

Look at who they played in the last few games and what they deserved to get from those games.

They were bad tonight but they're not far off.

City will rattle off 15 straight wins after Christmas and that'll be that. Again.

Can't see Cooper surviving that.

Forest should be kicking on up the table now. He's done a very good job there but you feel maybe reached the limit at prem and a new manager will probably get a couple of early wins and back into mid table obscurity.

Rumours they want Julen Lopetegui so if he's interested that's a pretty solid appointment based on his work at Wolves.

Sheffield United actually played o.k tonight for large spells.

Just watching Brentford and seeing Mbeumo being carried off.

That's a chance for them on Saturday as they can't afford to fail to win too many more home games. Luton follows that aswell so that's the bounce they need from Wilder returning to at least go down fighting.

I wouldn’t say they’re massively under performing their level at the moment though- they don’t really have all that many really good players, they’ve just spent a fortune on lots and lots of ok ones.

Its the same every year
Pep does Pep things for a few months, settles and goes on a crazy run
Tonights game broke a lot of unwanted records for him though

Last season's success would inevitably lead to a hangover.

Gundogan is being missed badly. I think they go out and buy someone in that vein in January.

VDBs return will be a catalyst too.

Is it right he’s sacked three managers already this season at Olympiakos?

I mean, you can tell just by looking at the guy that he’s insane, but bushing his credentials is another hearty tick in the mad column.
I saw a post from a Forest fan after we beat them apologising to their owner for the atmosphere, or lack of it, which may have contributed to their poor performance against “bottom of the table Everton”. They got promoted, spent a fortune and every time someone mentioned FFP etc there were loads of excuses about having to replace loan players etc. They are in danger of worshipping their owner to the point he drives them back into oblivion.

Cooper will probably get sacked, and deserves a chance at a club where he will have more recruitment control. Signs they are starting to look like we did, bought a load of on-paper quality that turned out to be on-grass crap.

Got good money for Johnson, but without the pace, it suddenly looks horrendous trying and failing to pass out from the back only to launch it forward to Woods. They should be better than Luton etc, but they are the one that look like joining the party at the bottom.
