They obviously weren't secured on the East stand and just placed on the rail and not bolted on.

It may be the start of developments being announced though. Plenty of money to be made in that area in a couple of years time.

Having worked in construction this is the type of thing that boils my urine, looks like a job done so that’s good enough……
Even if they hadn’t been blown away, some schmuck has got to go round them all again to fit the bolts….
Just finish the job while you are their ffs!

I remember seeing something about the way the seats are being fitted. They're using some new purpose built contraption for fixing them into the rail, but I think that requires them to be placed beforehand?

This type of thing is going to be quite frequent you'd imagine over the winter especially given its proximity to the Mersey...maybe would have been abit wiser leaving the seat till spring?

Or just making sure that any seats you put in are properlly fastened down! Rework takes twice as long as doing it right the first time!

Don't think Hot Wok would be at a priority meeting in the Liver Buildings , more likely to do with transport developments.

Wonder if they had started the 3rd row of glass going East to West like the rows before whether it would have protected a bit more of that area.

I'm making assumptions here that the cause was it blowing straight through the lower section of the North Stand as it appears to be the seats higher up that have taken the brunt of it.

They'll deffo have just not being secured properly. All the North stand is fine. Looks like Terry ran out of his power drill cordless battery and didn't want to tell his boss he hadn't secured them as he wanted an early dart Friday afternoon.

Terry needs to upgrade to some 54v DeWalt swag. No battery problems here. lol
