12 points= 4 wins. Hence why he said 'almost'.

100 million spent and your 9 points ahead of us. And we've been TERRIBLE this season. If we'd actually played well we'd be up along side you. Draw at home to Blackburn, loss at home to QPR, draw at home to Wolves, loss at home to Stoke. Says it all.

You call 12 points 'almost' but there's only 11 points between you and 20th and I wouldn't say Everton are almost bottom of the league. Besides, we could be having a much better season too with a bit of luck, there was a spell where 4 keepers got man of the match at Anfield on the run. If anything, I think the 9 points at the moment is generous to Everton.

Hit the woodwork 17 times or something like that. I'm not moaning because if it doesn't go in, it doesn't go in, but we could be in a better position with better finishing. Anyway, I've never seen luck like Everton v Blackburn earlier this season.

A certain red card at the Goodison Derby was pretty 'lucky'.

And don't forget those lovable reds have to contend against "deese refs", Fergie, the "corrupt [Poor language removed] FA" et al all conspiring against them. Amazing they're doing as well as they are.

Did you have the same view of the Rodwell sending off as Dogleash then?

Of course the Rodwell card for us was lucky but who knows what the score would've been at 11 vs 11. A lot of people seem to have been convinced it was Everton's for the taking prior to the card which is nonsense.

I just think that if you don't watch Liverpool you won't be as aware of the poor luck we had for a spell. We were horse ****e against Stoke and Bolton and deserved nothing from them games, but at Anfield this season the likes of Vorm, Ruddy, Cerny, Hart, Bunn, have all been the best player on the pitch. We've had our fair share of poor decisions too, Stoke away was a shocker that comes to mind. So to say we've been lucky is selective memory.
