So thinking about it, theres no way cautious-Dyche is going to take DCL, coming back from injury, and play him twice in the same week. That must mean Beto is playing against Luton.

Maybe the thinking is we pack it in here and counter with DCLs speed against Villa, and Luton will be packing it in so we will make better use of Beto's height on crosses?

I like the lineup. It may fall apart but he is trying something different and rotating as he should. Also testing the Garner and Onana pair. It is the perfect time to test it.

I agree that as a team we need to be flexible in formation but I've seen so much of Keane and so many mistakes that it feels like groundhog day.

If we can play an extra defender, why can we never play two up top?

I wouldn’t play 2 up in case of an injury, then you’re left with just 1 centre forward and Chermiti in the league

When defending. When attacking I'm sure it will become 3-4-3 with Mykolenko and Patterson providing the width and Danjuma and Harrison given licence to get up and support Dom

I think he’s conscious not to rush back after an injury but cheek aside Dom has been match fit for a month now, wouldn’t be surprised to see him play in both games.

Would love both Dom and Beto up top with crosses going in knowing how they’ll sit back.
