Opened in 1963, and where I learned to swim - Crosby Baths. We used to climb over the wall at the bottom of our road, straight into the Baths car park rather than walk all the way round the block!

The tower is still there, I believe it is where my mum decided she’d carried me around long enough back in May 1960
