Lads and lasses,
I need to be very careful what I say here for confidentiality.
A friend of mine( kopite) works for Deloitte and 777 are one of his clients.
He has just provided me with some reassuring words after me going into a meltdown.
When I questioned their funds he said without doubt they will have co investor.
That’s as much as I can probably say on the matter.
Is the co-investor's name Usman Alisharov by any chance? Does his moustache look suspiciously false?

If the stadium gets finished, we end up looking secure in the PL, and there are signs the revenues/profits are on the up and sustainable, we will then be more attractive to the monster investors. 777 will take the cash from whichever regime offers it. Can’t imagine they are here to make history over the next 7 decades.

if they do get in this should be the case

hopefully they fall

We'll end up renting the stadium off these to pay back the money they've borrowed to buy the club.
Just can't see any scenario where this will happen. The point of the new stadium is to generate enormous amounts of new income through tickets, merchandise, hospitality, restaurants, tours, bars, concerts, events, world cups, Euros, other sports etc etc. It's not being built as a rental property.

If new owners can use the new stadium correctly, rental income will be the last thing on their mind.

If they are funding the stadium build then it's an improvement on the current position, where player sales are helping to fund it. Even if they don't throw in money to the transfer budget just getting to a place where player sales could fund player purchases would be a step forward- think of how much better our transfer window would've been if we could just reinvest the Gordon and Kean money instead of Thelwell having it ripped out of his hands to fund other areas of the business.
Yes. They could say they will throw £10billion into the transfer kitty and it would make zero difference as until revenues are massively up, we cant spend it unless the rules change.

Short term we need financial stability, stadium funding, and just less stupidity so we aren’t hamstrung medium term.

No investor on the planet can spend us out of being crap on the pitch in the next few seasons. The days of slapping your own company on the shirt and giving your own club £100m in sponsorship cash are gone.

Until I find out its someone with Musk money...am flapping Kind Sir.

I don't know exactly what they will bring and they will need to outline it all in due course. I will judge them on what they do, not what they say, and not what the initial perceptions are.

They appear to buy stakes in struggling clubs so the truth is that we will only be able to tell how succesful they have been after a few years. For example, Hertha are struggling but they've only been involved since the spring. Where they are in 2 years will tell us much more.

And yes some of the comments about the commercialisation of fans have been totally ridiculous and clearly I don't support those comments or ideas. But this is a big enough club, with a vocal enough fan base and strong enough traditions, to push back strongly on any attempts to impose things at this club which are not acceptable to the wider Everton community.

This is the biggest club they will own, and they will quickly realise how they need to align their values and objectives with the values and traditions of the fan base and the local area. If they fail to do that, they won't be successful. There is huge potential at this club if the right people come along. Despite how down I am about Everton right now, I still firmly believe that. It's up to new owners to improve every area of the club, both on the pitch and especially the business side. If they can get everyone pulling in the same direction, we have a chance of this working.

i wish i had your optimism mate

they’re previous n current fills me with poo

Have you read anything about this lot?
Sir John Moores will be turning in his grave looking at what has happened to the club he proudly owned.
Not much but have you seen the state of Everton FC recently mate??

Apart from a wonder strike by Doucoure or a 1 in 100 2 goal come back against Palace mate we would be on the verge of extinction.

Our problems our with the current regime not the next ones!
