That's exactly where he needs to fit in.

A fit and happy Dele is the 2nd name on the teamsheet. (Beto is first, obvs. Absolutely dominated Doncaster)

It's a big ask but after the past few years we've suffered it's the kind of comeback story I'd like to cling onto.

Put it this way, it looks like we're getting actual money for Iwobi who averages a paltry 1.5 goals a season. Would you rather keep Iwobi and let him walk away on a free (which he 100% would do) or gamble half of the Iwobi money on a fit Dele?

I'm not much of a gambler, but it's a no brainer.
Beto has had ONE game against chuffing Donny.... he is not the messiah!!!

He can still be something of a quality player if he is managed the right way.

He's been through a tough time dealing with personal problems which obviously affected other areas of his life. He just needs Dyche to put an arm around him and say "Look, you've put it out there now, the club has been getting you the help you need to move on from it, lets focus on getting you match fit and get you to rediscover you're love for the game again." Once he's focussed mentally the performances on the pitch will improve naturally when he gets back out there for us.

Dear Diedre,

You forgot the bit about the 10 million quid.

Don't worry, he is.

We are gambling on this guy to save us from the abyss. Gambling gambling and gambling...eventually you lose. We were so lucky last year and we are about to repeat it.

We’re not gambling on Dele at all, we’ve just upgraded our forwards from dcl and Maupay to Beto, DCL and Chermiti and upgraded Iwobi for Harrison whilst keeping everything else like for like except bringing some more kids through

The only position we’re not stronger is center back but I’d argue Tarkowski and Branthwaite could be as good as Mina and Tarkowski were if Branthwaite progresses

Dele coming good would just be a bonus

We were lacking attacking options last year...in pure numbers we are in the same dire situation with a bench that we cannot even fill with kids because we have none left that are any good. First 11 on paper may be a bit better, but we will have to see how harrison performs.
