My mate literally said the same to me this morning. Why did we play Stoke away in a pre season friendly when they are dirty hatchet men?
Why did we play Wigan on a Saturday with barely 11 players to form a team then play Bolton 3 days later, followed by Stoke?
Why did McNeil play every minute of them 3 games in week, when has was a top scorer last year?
Dyche’s pre season was a disaster, and McNeil getting injured was the icing on the gingerbread cake.
Obviously on the ball himMy mate literally said the same to me this morning.
Think after the break is more realistic.Hopefully he can be back for sheffield...that would be a huge boost for us.
We’ve badly missed him. Fair play to him from a really scratchy start last season to becoming arguably our most important player. Offers a lot defensively as well. Be a big boost when he’s back in the side. Whipping in crosses for Beto will infinitely increase our attacking threat.
Think that is because other keepers come off there line to collect. Ashley Young would have a field day against us with Corners as Pickford (like Howard) is rooted to his line and not comfortable collectingAND... no more Ashley Young floating corners into the keeper's gloves!

its pointless playing pre season friendlies that are too nice, the stoke game was fine apart from the 'tackle' on McNeil. A player can twist and angle in triaining, it's a part of the game we seem to be unlucky at but no point whining like a bish. We shouldn't be so dependant on one or two players. Why did we play Stoke away in a pre season friendly when they are dirty hatchet men?

All premier league teams are dependant on a couple of players with the exception of the usual top 6...in our case is not only one player but many...our injury list is ridiculous right now and probably the worst in the plits pointless playing pre season friendlies that are too nice, the stoke game was fine apart from the 'tackle' on McNeil.
