MSP Sports Capital

Stunning news. Not good.

Where do we go fro here?

777 or no stadium?
If it is to be believed then 777 won’t get any further than MSP with any investment attempt. They seem even ropier than MSP. This other company isn’t going to allow any investment into the club unless its a massive amount which will include enough to cover their £200m we owe them.

You will never ever be able to get an empty stadium

At best you get a decent amount of fans to boycott 1 game after a massive campaign and instead of 40,000 the attendance is 30,000 instead
With a good campaign targeting the season ticket holders, I am sure we could get that number down somewhat.

FYI This headline is VERY misleading. From the actual article:

"That may well be true but the club will now not be getting any from MSP. But the U.S. group is proceeding with the £100million loan to the stadium company, although this is now just a straightforward loan and not convertible debt.

This should enable Moshiri to repay the £40million he borrowed from English businessman Andy Bell in May which was always intended to act as a bridging loan for the larger MSP investment."

In other words MSP IS indeed giving a 100million loan, but it will just be a straight loan instead of having the ability to convert it into equity. The 25% stake is off the table.
And the good news keeps rolling in

The club is a complete circus unfortunately, a laughing stock. MSP weren’t actually the answer either to be honest, if you read the article the current lenders of the club were against the move as they just don’t have enough money to make much of a difference, so it would have solved little monetary wise going forward.

We are absolutely desperate for a complete takeover but someone with very deep pockets. It’s the only way we can turn this around and get competing again.

The worry is one of our lenders isn't confident in getting it's money back.

So basically another lender we owed money to won’t allow this deal and will call in their £200M loan we owe them if we take money off MSP as they feel in a nutshell we aren’t financially stable and their scared of not getting their money back. Says it all really. We really are in trouble.
So realistically unless someone piles a crap load of investment into us this lot will pretty much veto every attempt if they deem it not enough.

Who's that then because the club has been telling us Moshiri has been putting the money in himself?

Thought that was the whole problem that we couldn't secure funding. Who have we lent £200m without it being made public?
