Basically whats going on at EFC is an accounting exercise. Sell as many players for as much as you can get and reduce the overheads(Wages) without the club been relegated. I don't believe the banks put Kenwright under too much pressure to sell but i would think that maybe the other shareholders did. They probably all know that their time at this club is up and they want to get as much profit for their investment as they can out of it now. If they value the club at 100m(that figure is a guess) and it had debts of 48m they would only get approx 52m net. But if what they have done for the last year is reduce the overall debt to approx 20m and they still value the club at 100m their net profit is 80m..... So thats my 2 cents worth. On Moyes and should he go or stay... There is no point changing manager when you have no money to give a new manager.
