Delighted Olise has rejected Chelsea, they have the feeling of a really plastic club these days and I'm baffled by the desire to go there. Are these long contracts really that much more beneficial to top players?

I mean they've got no option but to now. But I imagine it's going to make them a worse side in the long run than if they went about it another way.

Has it been detrimental to them in the past? None of their past success has come from the academy being utilised outside of John Terry
