I would rather be laughed at than be besotted with another male. I have a huge following on twitter and there are a few followers of mine who like you once loved what I would have to say... but after I said something that they didn't like they became obsessive, stalking me around the twittersphere, trying to trip me up at any given opportunity to make some kind of point.

You need to get out of this repetitive loop that you're in and accept that FB92 isn't just here for you / to validate your opinions on football/life. Its why I stuck you on egnore to try help you with that process but it just doesn't seem to work.

If Young signs then get behind him and see what he does before acting as if the world is crashing in all around us. He may just suprise you and do a decent stop gap job for a very nomimal fee in which everyones a winner.

Is a 37 year old with 1 goal and 2 assists in 53 games really going to be a decent 'stop gap'? If we get another winger in who can actually add some goals and assists then I'm not totally against Young on a free. Still early days but if we don't have 2 or 3 players in by the start of the season who actually improve us, then i'll be really worried

Apparently had a very good season last year and a lot of villa fans would have like him to stay, perhaps not as a first choice but as a strong backup option to cover injury and what not. Hopefully he comes as backup and not first choice.

I'm ok if he is just a backup. But then, Townsend & Gray were supposed to be too. And we all know how that ended.
