Absolutely, it’s really good, really hits its stride in season. Then finishes, which is disappointing.

Finished watching Ted Lasso and thought it was ok, nothing that special.

Ted Lasso took a pretty noticeable dip in quality this year. The original showrunner left to start another show and you could tell. I still enjoyed it but criticism of the material is totally justified. For a show that frequently ran over an hour long, too many plot points were rushed or glossed over.
People being cynical about the theme of the show and the mere existence of the show need to log off the Internet for awhile and detoxify.

We are through about 7 or 8 episodes of season 2.
Not as good as season 1 in my opinion. It's a lot slower and getting kind of repetitive, especially the scenes from the younger days.
I'm going to ride it out until the end this season to determine whether i'll give Season 3 a go when it comes out.
The timelines running in tandem, just doesn’t work at all.
Which is one of the really big problems.
Watched The Gallows Pole which is Shane Meadows’ new show. Only 3 episodes. It was not what I was expecting at all (other than Turgoose turning up). More Full Monty than This is England.
Still quite enjoyed it and there are some good performances but didn’t think it was anything special.
