yea i think so
They did slap a buy back clause on him if I recall which does suggest they weren't just binning him but I thought fitness was a reason they let him go
He's clearly a great defender, be a steal without the injury issues

Well, hands up, I was wrong. I doubted that he'd show enough commitment if he played for us again but he certainly put himself about. He made one headed block that made my neck hurt!

I wouldn't offer him another contract though. We've seen his availability over many years.

my hands are also up. I was the same as you but my goodness he put everything on the line and was motivating and leading all around him, exactly what I thought he wouldn’t. I’ve never doubted his ability but that was an absolute magnificent performance. Is it beyond the realms of possibility that Dyche is now focused on playing players only at peak fitness? (Like DCL and Patterson) I bloody hope so.
