Southampton have played well away at Arsenal and caused difficulties for Newcastle. They’ve also beaten Chelsea and drew with United away. It’s not a banker for Forest at all especially as they’ve got to win it and Southampton are just having a free swing knowing they’ve got nothing to lose.

Southampton are very random, toothless at home but yes they do have more of a scoring threat away. It could be a 1-1 which will suit neither.

You could say all this about Bournemouth though. Won away to Spurs, Leicester and Bournmouth in last month so Goodison on final day isn't going to bother them too much unless their keeper picks up an injury and they sign Hans Segers on an emergency loan.....

We have too many players from relegation teams. You bought what you become.

If theyre good players theyre still good players.

Lodi Danilo MGW and Johnson all start for us and would go a long way to push us up the table if we had a CF.

Its many of their other players who arent very good.

That's a really bad result for Leeds. I thought they'd pick up a point or even win today. With City away their next game then Newcastle who are as we know are playing well at the moment! It's not infeasible that they might not pick up another point for the rest of the season.
The one thing I would say, is that whilst results have been favourable, the manner of the defeats have also been important when looking at what impact those results would have on the morale of those teams players.

Forest winning up until the 82nd minute but had still earned a point until Brentford’s winner in the 94th minute and Leeds being tanked by a team who on paper they would have thought they were more likely to earn points from, so results have been favourable but those results would have been demoralising for those teams as well

Bournemouth are a better side than us, they have proved it twice this season.

It’s not a free swing because we’re in the relegation zone, but the results this weekend have taken some pressure off the Leicester game. It’s an opportunity now not a win to just keep parity, now it’s a chance to strike a dent against other teams.

With Brighton and City to come a draw would still leave us with a hell of a lot to do. Not buying that Wolves and Bournemouth are going to take their foot off the gas because they are safe. No team wants to lose their last home game and Bournemouth have already battered us twice this season, all the pressure will likely be on us.

Draw to Leicester Wolves and one of City or Brighton. Beat Bournemouth.

34 points and pray it’s enough.
