Wonder what happened to the building in the middle, probably a fire?

…presume you mean next to the Elephant Pub, I noticed that too. Seems strange they’d take one building out in the middle of a terrace.

….then and now, Woolton Village. Lovely to see the old lamppost in situ on both pictures even if the old gentleman will be long gone.

It's what I miss most about Liverpool, the buildings. Although I'm currently working in Glasgow, which is another beautiful City.

The Piece hall, the UKs only surviving 18th Century cloth trading hall (apparently).

Then, in-between and now. Mostly used for bars, shops and gigs these days. Limp Bizkit playing this summer!
