Jesus we have still got a really tough run in, tougher than most. It is still going to be close. I really hope we have enough to get out of this but I don’t know.
Difference to last season was only place being up for grabs. This season all three are ! Very tight. Need 5 more wins i reckon

Aye, I was thinking that three or more wins at home is what we need to be aiming for, with picking up a point or three away being an added bonus.
Should be able to pick up an away win somewhere, but I can't see more than that. But what gives me hope is we have a manager who is tactically sound and will have us in the mix for most games outside of the top 2 in the league. Hoping for 10+ points which ought to be close to being enough.

I have been working on the basis that 36 should be enough. Based on the current form and momentum 2 wins from the below home and one win from the below away and a draw should be a very achievable. However, momentum and injuries can change things quickly

Could have done without Conte calling out his players in the manner he did, with the international break on top.

They could have a new/interim manager by then. If not, they could come out all guns blazing or not turn up at all.

I'm sure Dyche will screen that noise out but it's another occasion where home support could count for a lot.

Last 2 weeks I decided to do accumulators with all our rivals winning.

So far, Everton doing well and everyone else dropping points has cost me £20 now. I'll keep doing my bit as it appears to be working
I missed a couple of home wins start of this year (last season). Convinced i was jinxing the team, so gave my ticket away to my cousins son who i was convinced was the lucky charm we needed. 🙈🙈

Quick question. Are we in more dangerous position this season then last season relegation battle?
I’d say it quickly turned into a straight shootout between us , leeds and Burnley for 1 place last year. This year there are more teams in it but all three places are still up for grabs.

A couple of defeats in a row and we would be in real trouble, a couple of wins and we’d be looking healthy. Season is on a knife edge.

Signs are good though. Only the villa home game was a real disappointment under dyche. Unbeaten in three now as well, on an upward trend with the underlying stats backing it up. If dyche can keep players fit and keep us chugging along then I’m confident we stay up. Every game is huge atm though , 3 points v spurs would be massive for us.
