Is it ?
Bournemouth lost, forest lost, Southampton drew at home, and wolves lost . Yea Leeds won but someone had to pick up points there . One team in the bottom 9 has won so far .
Yeah could have been a lot worse. In our own hands, just a pity we are playing Chelsea away as we could have jumped quite a few places today.

1 place above the relegation zone, 1 point off, having played two games more (and United and Spurs to come) is a nightmare scenario.

We’re still in a pack which is reassuring but I get the feeling we’ll need to pick up some points in these next 3 to stay within touching distance.
Bar West ham we have played 1 game more then some. And the same as 2 of the teams down there.

I think Forrest will end up being in the thick of it with us. Possibly Palace too, depending on how it goes with their new manager. I think Leicester and West Ham have enough about them quality wise to pull out of it. Not sure about Leeds, they barely stayed up last season and are in trouble again but they have a decent enough team there.

I worry that we have played a game more than those around us.

Just hoping if we do lose we don't do so heavily to protect our GD even though it's not great.

Imagine getting a win though, takes us to 12th.

One of the other 8 teams will get a roll on, it seems today that's Leeds. The cant all drop points but let's just see how it pans out for us tonight. I'd take a draw right now.

If you believe that Forest are the team we simply must catch - as I do - then today's results are reasonable. Bournemouth and Southampton took a single home point between them. So, they stay behind us. The critical result this weekend was Forest's home loss. I don't worry too much about the likes of West Ham, Leicester, or Wolves. I see Forest as our prey. I'm reasonably comfortable with that reality.
