D'you know, if by some chance we beat Chelsea on Saturday I'd be prepared to call us as safe.

I think we're one big win like that away from laying down the law in this relegation struggle.

If we got a draw I'd stop short of that, but I'd be of the mind that on 26 points we'd easily rack up another 10-14 points from the remaining 10 games to get safe.
Get ready to call us safe then.....

Ha ha ha ha. Who on earth fed the data in for that to happen?

Mmm. You would expect any Chairman to be thinking about changing the manager with our form. Tbf Aarons is usually pretty good with regard to Palace but I wouldn’t be expecting to see any “Parish will definitely stick with Vieira” this morning. So it’s a fairly safe line to take for a journo looking to fill space.

I think we have enough 'winnable' games to get away from relegation. If we get anything from the next 3 games Chelsea away, Spurs home and Manu away it will be a big boost.

The Guardian linking Kompany or Carrick with the Palace job.

FFS, why would Kompany leave Burnley now? Unreal. Carrick is hardly established as a safe pair of hands to go to.

Totally agree. Even 3-4 points in the next 3 games would be great. Would leave us not needing much.

Talk is cheap I suppose, but if we get a win against Spurs at home I think we'll be ok.

Its all based on the type of response to Dyche we've seen and projecting that forward. We're in safe hands with him.

Forest are heading in only one direction. If Johnson is out for 5/6 weeks they're gone.

EDIT: it looks like they've ruled out him as a long term injury, but even with him they're tumbling.

They are going to need wins mate, they are capable of draws.

We need them to keep drawing and loosing, especially over he next 3. If they disimprove all the better.

Johnson is a huge miss for them, Woods got three all season, is one dimensional and is actually ineligible this week against Newcastle. They are getting nearly as bad as us up front.

They have a decision to make with the international break, because Palace will be flattened by Arsenal next up.

It depends on results tomorrow and this weekend. For example, if - as I suspect - no club below them other than Wolves gets points then they'll be sitting in 13th place. That would be a strange position to sack a manager from if you're Palace. I think their board will look at the type of clubs they've been playing for the past 2 months (top half teams) and stay their hand. Only if Palace then start losing after the break against Leicester or Leeds will they act to remove Vieira.

International break could prompt a few if results don't go their way, Palace, WHU or Leicester.

Forest's run in is atrocious. They have a winnable game tomorrow night and they dont have too many more than that. If they just draw or get beat by Newcastle I'd put a lot of money on Forest being relegated.

I'd argue Wolves and Soton at home are the two best chances for them.
