During our more frustrating periods all I was hearing was how we wished we could put together a young exciting up and coming team like Brighton, Palace and Brentford. There was definitely some jealousy of your young up and coming squad.

Vieira was clearing out a very aged squad and brought in some talented youngsters, agreed. I don’t know what was said about Brentford or the other one but no one wished Everton “were as good as Palace.”
I appreciate the gist of what you are saying and don’t disagree but I don’t think I’m being too pedantic here.

Honestly when you smashed us 4-0 I think it was in the cup I wished we were as good as palace
