Yes, maybe. I just think they - like Wolves and Palace - will have a spell of results that get them clear.

Leicester would have been one of those but their fixtures look very tough.

Leicester have easier fixtures than West Ham unless I've missed something. Played pretty much every top half team at home now. Have Bournemouth at home whereas West Ham have them away for example. Also got home advantage v West Ham on final day and that's going to mean something siginificant for at least one of those teams you'd suspect.

I actually think West Ham will struggle to win more than 3 games in the run in so they'll still be in serious danger of being relegated with 10 minutes of the season still left imo.

My hope would be that both Leicester and Wolves are feeling more comfortable by the time we play them, maybe even Bournmouth too. To some extent Chelsea, United and city are low expectation games for us. Once more our survival hinges on winning at home. Little else really matters. as many have said the relegation rivals play each other a lot so they cannot all get points. On this evidence I would still be worried for us but even more so if I was a Southampton, Forest, Leeds or Palace fan. Palace look to have the easier run in on paper but they play too many teams who desperately need the points.

That was a good weekend for us. Everyone dropped points apart from Bournemouth. Only real disappointment is Southampton not losing in a game they would have if refereeing was competent.
And this is my current VAR fear. Its being used to engineer results and influence the table for the entertainment. I swear there was a post around new year that said if VAR was used competently, we'd be midtable.

It's all a matter of opinion, I suppose.

Leicester's away matches look horrendous to me.

Just hope some luck with games on wednesday then things go for us at the weekend. And with thr forest game on the friday reall hope we can match them with pointw

Looking at that our run in looks very difficult , perhaps only matched by West Ham and Southamprton.

However as we showed against Arsenal at home we can occasionally pull results out of the bag against top teams
Definitely need to win at least 3 of those 5 home games

One of the interesting things to see will be the metal fortitude of the other teams that get sucked in. A lot of the teams above us have not been down there, yet as they start to get dragged in, regardless of fixtures how will they cope playing under increased pressure? We have been playing under a similar sort of pressure since we dropped into the bottom 3

Saints have a terrible run, stil have to go away to Arsenal and Newcastle and the trip to Brighton right at the end will be super hard as they would love to send them down. Along with hard home games against City and possibly Spurs and Liverpool, i really dont see them getting mnay points, they are 100% gone

What else is interesting is the amount of six point games Palace have, that is a lot of points being taken off each other.

Southhamton, Palace and Leeds for me

I find predicting games/results baffling. We beat Arsenal, Bournemouth beat RS, Southampton have just got 4 points from playing Chelsea and Man United away. That's massive. No super computer predictor would have predicted any of those results.

There are no easy games, everyone can beat everyone and that's what we're seeing now.

We have the toughest run, don't we? I get palpitations just thinking about it..
Admittedly our two best performances were against teams we expected to lose to at home. Expect more bull@##*! VAR decisions against Newcastle though...
I am actually encouraged looking at the run in

I think our run is OK, we have a small hard run coming up, if we can stay out of the zone before Fulham come to Goodison it will be really encouraging

Agreed but as @ToffeeTim says there are 9 teams in trouble here. I've been saying for weeks that Crystal Palace are the team that thought they were safe mid table but have been dragged into the relegation scrap. Generally the team that happens too don't have the the time to react and therefore drop like a stone. Look at Leeds last year, thats what happened to them.
I just seen it mentioned they havent had a shot on target in the last three games, if that is true they are in a really bad place
