I think it could develop that 40 points might be what’s required.

I think we need to be sensible and look at Chelsea, United, City as games to expect nothing from, so just protect the goal difference and anything from them will be huge.

It’s the games against sides around us like Palace, Leicester and Wolves away, where we need to be taking a minimum of 4 points. At home with Goodison rocking Fulham, Spurs, Newcastle become a less daunting prospect. There’s a good few wins to go in our season, let’s just hope that we do our bit and other teams drop off.

The games between 1st April and 5th April look particularly key. That's when most of the teams below us play games in hand, which all look winnable games. That Tottenham one for us needs to be a win and definitely can be under the lights.

Last 2 games of the season against wolves and Bournemouth.....we NEED to be safe by that point. Don't think my ticker could handle it if it goes to the wire.

We've got some horrid fixtures coming up, but just been looking and most of the teams around us have got equally hard games or playing each other anyway, if ( big ask ) we can get say 3/4 points from the next 3 I reckon we'll still be out the bottom 3 by the time our next lot of fixtures come about.

Fixtures are about the same all our rivals have to play 3/4 or more of the top 10 teams over their run in.

Last season we had this number of points after 29 games played and we finished on 39 points.

Times sport suggested yesterday that 33 points might be enough for survival this season due to the number of teams in the dog fight.

Leaving aside the pain, it’s a gripping battle

Looking at our fixtures just then just shows how important that win was yesterday
4 wins and 3 draws, and the games we are marking off for points we have to get them. We were hanging on yesterday so imagine the same but against Tottenham or Newcastle. It's going to be tough

We are back in the pack, which is a good thing obviously, but to stay there we are going to have to pick up a few points over the next few games which, on paper, you wouldn't expect us to.

Since Dyche arrived he's picked up 10 points from 7 games and managed to do that from scoring only 5 goals. It's impressive, but is it sustainable?

Dunno, but we do at least still have a chance. Yesterday was big.

We need to pick something up at Goodison v Spurs IMO. They will not be much tougher than Brentford today.

The two away games are likely write offs.
Brentford are a tougher opposition to Spurs mate. I'm not saying we'll beat Spurs definitely, but Spurs are erratic whereas Brentford were consistent coming into that game yesterday with massive amounts of confidence.

This Spurs team wont be playing against a Lampard team that allows them loads of space to run into.

I don't see why we can't pick up a point against Spurs, they can be very hit and miss.
