I’m not sure anyone is saying it doesn’t matter, mate. If we draw/lose this game, though, the point is it’ll be more about our attacking incompetence than one VAR decision. In much the same way that us going down would be more a result of continued crapness than any one-off injustice.
I've seen several say if we just scored it doesn't matter. I think it's ridiculous.
Should we score those sitters, absolutely. But Gray did score a sitter, and it was ruled out. It always matters to me if we score and it is "unfairly imo" ruled out. Even if we go on to win this, it still matters.
 

And there was me thinking VAR was only brought in so the anti-Everton powers that be could finally relegate a team that has never really threated to disrupt the established order in thirty years..... 🤷‍♂️

We have had some woeful decisions against us but I don’t like the persecution complex brewing over this in the fan base.

If what people say is true and “they want us relegated “ then the club has certainly helped them massively along the way
