When you can't score every screw-up at the defensive end is magnified. The rare 3 on 2 usually ends up with Doucoure tripping over the ball before he shoots. They don't have players that draw fouls in the box and have no one that is a threat on free kicks. They have created some opportunities on corners, but that is about it.

Dave, if we lose to Forest what chance would you give us of survival?
The better question is if we lose to both Forest and Brentford. That would be very worrying.

If we beat either Forest or Brentford that would be 3 wins in 7 games since Dyche came in. That would represent enough rate of wins, if sustained, to the season's end. I think we can pick up 3 or 4 points from the next 3 games. If we do, that'd keep us well in the hunt to get clear. More than that and we're 'ahead of schedule'.

The more relevant stat is 3 points covering 14th to 19th.

People saying that other club's will have the edge with their strike forces...why are they easily in reach of us then?

I see how we're playing for and under this manager and I see a level of consistency in getting in the opposition box and getting shots off and that's handed us 2 wins from 4 games.

Be aware of this: none of our relegation rivals above or below view us as 'inevitably' going down.
Dave, I think the most relevant stat is Everton games p!ayed 24 goals scored 17. That's what is probably going to relegate us.

I almost feel like i am confused at the same time as thinking 2 different things lol - These 4 games i think we could win Forest, Brentford, Fulham, Bournemouth, for no reason at all plus any other points we may pick up - if that would be enough who knows. on the other hand i think the worst because as we know we cant score and mostly it seems we are relying on say 1-0s

Don`t forget, according to GOT Land, Leeds still get a point for every loss - helps them with their Champions League push.
It never fails to amaze me how much credit the rest of the relegation pack get from this forum. Those teams are either worse than us or at best a mighty 3 points better than us after playing 24 games this season.

People who think any of that lot are getting a jet propelled ride out of the mess we're all in are barking mad.

GOT Land - rules :

Rule number 1 :

Leeds are the best team in the world and will win everything.

Rule number 2 :

Non of the teams around us, will lose a single game ever again.

Rule number 3 :

The players of the teams around us, will die for their clubs.

Rule number 4 :

They all have the best club managers in the world.

Rule number 5 :

All of them are well run and never make mistakes.

About as easy as it is for all those teams from 20th up to 13th/14th. 🤷‍♂️
Yes the thing is though Dave, they can score goals, it's just a matter of time untill the far post Tarkowski ploy is sussed out and our finishing from open play is very poor and that is being kind. We really are in trouble this season and, to be fair, if we can only manage 17 goals in 24 games, we probably deserve to go.
