Here's the thing.
if (and its still a big IF) we go down,
we have a manager in place to can get out of that league.
We have what ever money we saved in January plus prob about $100m with the inevitable sale of Pickford, Onana, Mina, Gomes and one or two more.
I'd say a lot would stay. Even DCL might see a season in the championship as the perfect opportunity to get his career back on line.
Dyche seems to love his settled first XI so I could see the likes of Gana, Doucoure, Iwobi, Coleman, Tarkowski, Coady, Myko, McNeil all staying.
Then there's Warrington, Canon, Brantwaith and a few others on loan.
So, with player sales, parachute payments and no huge need to strengthen unless DCL is well and truly crocked, we wouldn't be in the worst position in the world.
And it might finally spell the end of Kenwright.

We did well yesterday until we didn't. And that's down to the board. If we go down it's their fault.

I think your Kenwight theory is the wrong way around, if we go down nobody is paying the price Moshiri wants so we keep this status quo.... more likely to be sold and move Billy Liar on if we stay up.

Going down would be catastrophic, in the second season we would undoubtedly take a point deduction, all our best players would move on at cut price deals because we`d simply have to sell. We`d be stuck with the players we have always been stuck with on big money....

If we didnt get back in the 1st season we would be next Sunderland or having points deductions like Derby, as I said before going down is THE worst thing that can happen, Everton likely to be more fighting to even exist with the current debt levels and FFP. Anything not bolted down would need to be sold and the 100s of men and women working at Goodison, FF and The Liver Building will all be made redundant....

Whats sad is that fans like @Neiler and @ForeverBlue92 for years pointed out ballers who the club should have signed for £20 millions here and £30 millions there.

Ings, Wilf Zaha, ASM, Wilson, Ward Prowse, Trossard etc. but the hipsters laughed and said they were gash as we instead signed "ballers" like Davy Klaasan, Moise Kean, Godfrey et al.

This could have been avoided had Marcel Brands and Steve Walsh done their homework.
Zaha would have cost at least £60m when we enquired about him.

Between now and the end of the season we will win some games and lose some games. Might even get a couple of draws or so. And we’ll finish somewhere between 10th and 20th.

Then next season we will play more football games where we will win some and lose some.
We defo will lol, starting with playing 8 more championship games (46) if the worst happens, plus whatever else the championship teams deal with, think they start a round earlier in FA Cup but not sure, going to be a tight finish either way, after we went through what we did last season only us could near enough go through hell again the very next season, not even giving us a break

If we score first I'd bank on a Dyche team holding onto a lead way more than any Lampard team.

That's the key: score first.

We did that against Arsenal and Leeds and locked up the shop.

We almost got in front at the derby and paid for it by not doing so. We paid for it yesterday by not taking 3 gilt edged chances. If we had taken the lead in both those games we'd be sitting here with at least 4 more points right now.

It looks to me like Dyche is committing a lot to getting our noses in front in games, and I think that's our best policy.

We are definitely a different proposition now under Dyche than under Lampard.
