We’ve had 21 points out of 72

We are completely dire in front of goal and have scored the least goals in the division, 17 goals in 24 games.

If you don’t see this team going down keep taking the happy pills and lend me some please.
Being completely dire in front of goal earned us a 1-0 win Vs top of the league recently.

I'm not happy myself and if it was just a case of solely focusing on how poor Everton are then I'd agree with the hysteria. But we won a crucial game last week against our rivals for the drop and after yesterday we are still only 1 point off 17th. There are 7-8 teams who are in big trouble, we are not cut adrift.

No chance winning 5 of them. 3 at best. We have to win some away games starting at Forest.

A win will pull them right back within our reach, but I would be surprised if we do it. Defence is going to have to be flawless as we try and grind out a 1-0 win.

If we lose, then I think that's them safe. They'd be 7 points clear of us and we just aren't going to put a run together that'll cause them concern.

We need to win a couple of away games and we will need at least 1 if not 2 results in games where we expect to lose

The good work of the Leeds gane was undone by yesterday. 4 points had to be our target from the home double header and we are behind that total.

Performance means nothing in our situation, its all about the result. I dont wanna hear about positives, there are none when you are so abject in the final third.

We've lost 3 straight home games to Villa. Its pathetic

If there's anything to get out of this team, Dyche will get it out.

If it's not there then we are in trouble.

After 4 games of his tenure I think we have a lot of hope still that we can plot a way out of this mess.

The chances are being created. We've made them pay 2 out of those 4 games. It'll be like that for the remainder of the season - games going our way and not going our way. Dyche will seek to silo each game and result off and make the highs not too high and the lows not too low.

I see our chances at roughly 50-50.

When was the last time Everton scored a direct free kick? Lucas Digne in the 2018/19 season, nearly 4 full seasons!

TBF, that's exactly the situation for every club from Southampton up to Leicester.

We are not alone in walking a tightrope for the next 14 games.

I think we got too high after the Leeds game. I think its been a problem with this squad for a long time. When we finally win a game there is way too much made of it and not enough focus on backing it up.

I can't see him persisting with Maupay up front on his own.

I think he'll be trying to work out who he can put up front to get goals, even if it's 5 awkward scruffy bundled ones.

I think Garner coming back will be a big help because he fits Dyche style perfectly and he will give us more attacking support than the current midfield 3.

I dont think that was the case at all.

The manager, players and fans were very balanced in the aftermath of that.

I'm not sure. I cant even remember the last time they backed up a good result with another good result. There's something wrong with the mentality of the squad, as well as the lack of ability

5 more wins to stay up, 6 home games left, we can only afford 1 more defeat or draw at home because there is no way on this earth we are winning away.... If you cant see 5 wins from the teams below then you need to open your eyes and realise what is going to happen.

Brentford
Spurs
Fulham
Newcastle
Man City
Bournemouth
We have to win at Forest. It’s as simple as that.

God yes.

Though unlike some I don’t dread the drop that much. If the club survives it (and I am confident it would) the culls and dredging would see us come back out a properly run organisation.

I fear that if we dodge it again like last season nothing will change.
The bit about nothing changing is demonstrably true. This season is proof of that.

I think we’ll struggle hugely if we go down, but I can’t say this club doesn’t deserve to go. It’s been run in a manner that flirts with relegation.

Beat Forest and hope is rekindled. But we have dropped too many points in winnable games to settle for anything less. There may be 14 games to play, but not too many of those will yield points and fewer provide opportunities to earn points and deny direct rivals likewise at the same time.

We simply have to beat Forest. A draw will not be enough.
