Rondon + Maupay - The last 2 strikers signed by the club
Do we really deserve to be in this league..
Yeah Rondon would definitely suit a Dyche system. But were looking at if's and buts..If we'd kept Rondon and not signed Maupay I honestly think we'd have more points on the board.
I think we would smash forest but only worry is we play midweek to arsenal could hinder us
Almost definitely would have won if we had actual forwards. Up until the pen we dominated and had chances. That was at least a draw if the pen wasn’t given. You are right in everything you say.Yesterday was a must win. And it was a winnable game.
3 of the next 4 are away. Even the most optimistic side of me cant see anything coming in points. If you cant score you cant win games. Every single club around us has better options up front. Even bournemouth and southampton have a forward line to select.
The board and kevin thelwell relegated this club in january. It had a chance to prevent it. Even if it was a slim chance. It was still a fighting chance.
I think we beat villa yesterday with even a moderate forward line.
They did the opposite of giving us a fighting chance.

Does it make you feel better to get the phrase "we are done" off your chest? Some people holding onto hope with ‘we’re creating chances we just need to convert them now’.
There’s a reason our players can’t convert them, and they’re not magically going to gain that ability by season’s end. We can’t rely on freak occurrences like Coleman’s goal.
We’re 100% done.
Well said!!Does it make you feel better to get the phrase "we are done" off your chest?
We are deep in trouble but to make out we are already relegated is hysterical nonsense and surely done for effect. Let's hope the majority of our match going fans have more bottle than you for this relegation battle.
A section of our fanbase just love to use that phrase after a bad result, sometimes with longer than half a season to go and it's pathetic and defeatist.
We are 1 point from safety and within 1 win of 14th with 14 games left. Long way to go yet.
Yeah was clearly as daylight yesterday. We played well, had chances and still lost. The break for the world cup.
Then january was a 24/7 priority nothing else matters job for 31 days to get forwards in to prevent what happened yesterday against Villa. Got away with it against Arsenal and Leeds when two defenders chipped in with the goals. What happened yest was coming at us like an express train.
I'm struggling to put into words how poor bad kevin thelwell has been over this. The writing was on the wall at the start of the season when calvert lewin wasnt available and we started the season with no striker option.
To allow it to go through the whole of january. Even fecking bournemouth had THREE strikers on the bench yesterday.
Abysmal planning.
The only reason for imagining that Rondon would fit into Dyche's system is that he is big. The thing is he is also a terrible, over the hill footballer who can no longer run. Simms is as big as Rondon and far more mobile...so no, getting shut of Rondon wasn't a mistake, signing him in the first place, however, that was a mistake.IMO cutting big Sally Rondon to save his wages is looking like a massive false economy right about now.
He is just the kind of big yoke Dyche’s tactics depend on.
We’ve had 21 points out of 72Does it make you feel better to get the phrase "we are done" off your chest?
