Truth is villa I think is a really tough game, realistically a point is a good result, be chuffed with a win but it's gonna be tough.
Villa at home is one of our most favourable fixtures left. Their form has also started to take a dive. They scored a couple of very good goals against Arsenal but they were poor for long periods

Drive yourself mental trying to predict results like this, I think there will be some unexpected results along the way. Truth is we play better when all we have to do is defend and nick a goal, in games where we are needing to control the ball is where we struggle which makes it hard to predict.
True. Not many would have picked us drawing away to City and beating Arsenal at home.

Only game I have written off is Arsenal away. It is in between two huge winnable games.

This is what I came up with after a quick glance at the schedule. This would put us at 41 points.

BLUE= D

Supposing we need 18 points from 15 games, to be really sure. I'm looking for 4 wins, 6 draws and 5 losses, here goes:

(According to my optimistic-pessimistic hope-killing predictions, one route to safety requires 3 Away wins, and draws against teams like Newcastle, Fulham and Brentford who are playing well often. This is tough! This prediction also means we'd need 8 points from the last 5 games - also hard!
Anyway we look at this, it's going to be a really difficult ask, and will need the bottom teams to get less than 35 points in the end, and a lower threshold to avoid relegation.)
What do you think?

Vills (H) - 3 pts

Fulham (H) - 1
Palace (A) - 1
Newcastle (H) - 1
Leicester (A) - 3
Brighton (A) - 1

I agree, but they counter quickly and in a game where we are at home and expected to take the game to the opposition somewhat we could play right in to there hands. I hope I'm wrong!

I think unless we are chasing or caught out from a set piece we will be pretty deep. The biggest risk is if Coutinho or Buendia have their shooting boots on

Gives us 38. Based on DCL being fit for 10 games and no injury crisis
