Times reporting if West Ham lose to Forrest Moyes will be sacked. Wonder who they get in.
I think he needs to be given time. Been absolutely mad what's going on at Chelsea.
In that our fans ae as fickile as Clelsea's and would never give him time to succeed yeah. Dyche is about the right fit.
Will be interesting to see how it plays out. Some good people have been hired between Potter and the mad owner, and so far there are no signs he's planning to pull the trigger. But he needs some wins soonNo one really gets the time nowadays to dismantle and rebuild. If you take a team up you might get a bit more leniency. Other than that you have to be better than the bloke who came before.
Granted the owner has made things ten times worse, Todd must have bought the Farhard Moshiri book on how to successfully run a football club and thought he'd follow that to the max on steroids.
Black Swan event that was.
Even a knackered and disillusioned Chelsea team created enough clear chances to win that game 8-1.
S'ton are dire and will be relegated. Almost literally a one man team.
As with Lampard once you get into “win the next game or get sacked” territory you might as well just sack them there and then.Times reporting if West Ham lose to Forrest Moyes will be sacked. Wonder who they get in.
We also have idiots in charge of our clubs, you mustn’t disregard that as a factor. As a relatively new PL fan from the states, these "If he doesn't beat X then he's getting sacked," rumors are wild. I can't imagine that in the US-- once you're at that point you might as well sack the guy.
I guess the key difference here is that with US sports, once the season is lost, you might as well start making changes and thinking about next year. With the PL, you still have to go out and keep playing to avoid relegation.
It always frustrates me this arbitrary line in the sand , what if they’re awful but sneak a win against the run of play ? Then it’s ok but not if they are excellent , really unlucky and robbed by a world class goalkeeping display and VAR . If they do win but lose to brighton and Villa then had he gone ?As with Lampard once you get into “win the next game or get sacked” territory you might as well just sack them there and then.
Bring Frankie boy homeTimes reporting if West Ham lose to Forrest Moyes will be sacked. Wonder who they get in.
Exactly, if you’re giving that ultimatum it’s because they’re doing a bad job, and if you think that just sack them. If he beats Forest is he doing a good job now?It always frustrates me this arbitrary line in the sand , what if they’re awful but sneak a win against the run of play ? I agree with you , if the board are there then just pull the trigger .
I’m surprised he’s still employed.Times reporting if West Ham lose to Forrest Moyes will be sacked. Wonder who they get in.
That’s the beauty of it. American sports will throw their season away to get a high draft pick.
