I’m willing to give Dyche a chance to get some goals out of this side. Hopefully some new ideas can help make that happen but I’m not the most optimistic. It’s a shame management bottled the transfer windows and the fans are the ones who have to live with it unfortunately.
I dont think they bottled the transfer window.....what does that even mean? Sean has told us a few times that the club were trying hard to find players that could improve the squad. January is always a tough window and who were these players that wanted to come to Everton in our present situation?

Leeds-Southampton is a big one next weekend.

Leeds will surely appoint someone in the week as the caretaker keeping on a terrible Bamford for the whole game shows his inexperience.

People more fearing a leeds win but Southampton win that and they're on 21 points so far from dead and buried. Will probably give their own stand in the job until end of season if he wins at Elland Road and they still have some winnable home games left.

Who doesn't win that is down.

Let’s not forget that the teams around us won’t have been banking on us taking anything against Arsenal either, let alone a win. It’s not just everyone else that’s pulling out unexpected results against a top side, we’ve done it too. City away as well.

And go and look at the last 10-12 games for Leeds, Southampton, Bournemouth, Palace and West Ham. Barring the odd win, all in horrible form.

No one is down at this stage of the season. It’s incredibly tight.

Moral will be woeful though mate. Like if Leeds lose that, can you honestly see them recovering?

There are some games you just sense if you lose you go down. That as one of them for us today. I know theres loads of games and that, but I wonder if teams can recover phsycoligically.

Yep, it's going to the wire. No one is down at all, 3 points only between us in 16th and bottom of the table. We are also within a win of the teams above us. It's the tightest it's been in a while at this stage of the year in mid Feb.

Results were far from ideal but if other teams can be sucked into the fight then that is a positive for us. The more teams still in the battle at the bottom come April, the better for us.

Tell you who results really weren’t ideal for. Leeds.

Yep, couldn't have gone any worse for them. Losing a genuine 6 pointer with all those other results is a shocker for them. They are the big loser of the day.

But they have another genuine 6 pointer next week, so they could easily bounce back straight away. Totally wrong to write them off, especially since I now expect them to go out and find an experienced manager.

Pressure on West Ham now for their game tomorrow as well. Always an advantage to play Saturday in a relegation battle. I think Burnley lost a crucial game at Norwich last year the day after we beat United on the Saturday.
