Leicester will be right in this dogfight in 2/3 weeks.

The relegation scrap is between us and:

S'ton
Leeds
B'mouth
West Ham
Wolves
Leicester
If wolves goes down they will be bankrupt...they massively gamble on players in January. You'll think that they should have enough to stay up but this league is so unforgiving...the longer it takes them to get up the table, the more nervous they'll be.

Yeah, there's not much to applaud our club about but them taking on a 40m obligation to buy Cunha in the summer was weird business in a relegation battle. If they go down that's most of the parachute payment out the window immediately. Been a lot of talk about how bad relegation for us (and it is) but the money Wolves and Forest have gambled on staying up I'd say it's worse for them than us.

Here's S'ton's problem for me: if they bring in a new manager does it kill the buzz off that win?

I see Leeds finishing above S'ton, tbh. They have Rodrigo to come back soon(ish).

Forget his name but they might aswell give him until the March international break to see if he can back it up. Even a draw at Leeds and then winning the next home game will be a very good return for the mess Nathan Jones left them in.

Got Leicester, Brentford and Spurs all at home in next month so they need at least four points from those.

If we’d even just managed to take a point from the wolves and Southampton home games I’d be a lot more relaxed.

Just think we are an awful side though. One of the worst Everton teams I can remember.

We don’t score goals and that is the most worrying thing.

If we can scrape another 5 x 1-0 wins though that would hopefully do it.

4 wins and 4 draws, I reckon is all we need. 37pts will just about do, I’m hoping for more, obviously.

I’d really like to catch and overhaul Wolves and Forest in particular. I think that WHU and Leicester will eventually pull clear.

Yeah, looking at it more closely I think Bournemouth winning is an OK result. That was Wolves' easy game, their next 4 are Fulham, Liverpool and Newcastle away and Spurs at home, so there should be an opportunity to get past them. The more teams that stay in the mix the more protection we have against a team like Southampton going on a big run.

Not looking like many wins for either of those in the next few games. I'd expect both to be in tbe bottom 3 at the end of that. And as we know, once you're in there at this stage, very few make it out.
