I know performances are horrid at present but the order of the day was grinding out wins / points and elevating our average points per game which is what he has done for the first three games. Who knows where we would have been if he had been appointed pre WC, and god only knows where we would have been if FL had not have been sacked.

Leicester will be right in this dogfight in 2/3 weeks.

The relegation scrap is between us and:

S'ton
Leeds
B'mouth
West Ham
Wolves
Leicester

Bournemouths win wasnt a bad result. Dragged wolves back. And bournemouths next 3 games are city arsenal and liverpool.
Southampton at chelsea was a killer though. Kin chelsea.
Yeah, looking at it more closely I think Bournemouth winning is an OK result. That was Wolves' easy game, their next 4 are Fulham, Liverpool and Newcastle away and Spurs at home, so there should be an opportunity to get past them. The more teams that stay in the mix the more protection we have against a team like Southampton going on a big run.

From ourside with so many games still left how sustainable is it to eek out narrow victory’s relying on set-piece goals and fortuitous efforts like today. 15 left and we are going to need DCL fit for 10 of them to have a realistic chance

Leicester are too good…,inconsistent but have enough goals in them….I see them in top half come seasons end but everyone else I agree with
