If all you're going to think about is the results and keep ignoring the process we are going to go down. Maybe it isn't this year but until we solidify how the club is run day to day, month to month no real progress can be made. The only solution is to build it all up piece by piece and stop being so preoccupied with the league table every week.

Now is not the time for that given the severity of the situation (let’s face it whenever is) but you are right, consistently good performances are more of an indicator of progress and results start to come. Game to game results with poor underlying performance indicate we will always be struggling in the bottom half - Brighton are a decent but not flawless of having a process and plan

People deluded themselves into thinking the summer window was some sort of success. It was simply delusion and nothing else.

A transfer window is never a success if you’re going into the final day still needing players, then failing to get them.
