Im a little like that. Everton have been as dull as dishwater for so long. Dyche will be even duller than dishwater. And this theory get him in because he will keep us up. Im not convinced by that.

I dont know tbh. Its a really big call.
I am in two minds too but I think we have some better players than he had at Leeds and look what he did there he would definitely need a few more athletes in midfield and in forward areas for sure. We have been playing passing football that's not effective and just getting beat every week of late why not have a go especially at home?

Is there?

He's a maverick who we're almost having to get in a headlock to get him to come.

Based on what?

He'd a hero at Leeds because he promoted them at second time of asking after 16 years. If I recall he was going to jib them after failing first time round.

Other than promoting Leeds I only see bad things in his club career.

Shared my view earlier;

There is yes because the way you questioned him as a disaster in europe indicated it was the football. It wasnt and isnt. He did well at Marseille. At lille he got rid of all the old guard at the club and brought in pacey younger players.

Its the gamble of if he sticks around. As the option between him and dyche for football is chalk n cheese.

Bielsa all day
A handful of hectic wins and a few big losses with the team earning their squillions£££ playing exciting football, is far better than a string of draws and a few big losses with the team boring the hell out of us as per usual
I want us to come out swinging for the rest of the season and if we go down I want it in a blaze of glory rather than with a resigned whimper, gravelly whimper notwithstanding

That bit im not to sure about. But at the moment i have such a downer on Everton players i might struggle to find a good word about any of them.

This is it, seems to me the philosophies are massively opposing which screams Bielsa is Mosh's man and Dyche is BK's and the rest of the board. Seems Thelwell liked Corberan or Hasshuttl. Corberan is a disiciple of Bielsa. I don't know I just think a few years of Bielsa could implement something different that's if we stay up. Dyche just kicks the can really

We have a few in comparison to Leeds that was largely a championship squad initially and they added a bit more quality, but I agree we lack some key quality in areas we would have to bring in at least three players(dynamic players) to start to play his way by next week which seems an ask given our ineptitude in recruitment

With Dyche, we go down. Simple as that. It'll be like shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic. It's no good battling for hard earned draws when we need wins. Long term, maybe Dyche can steady the ship. But the answer to the relegation threat ? Nah.

A lot will depend for whoever it is will be the next 6 days. If we dont get any in its almost guarenteed we are going. If we by some miracle do get some in we have a possible fighters chance.

Not great either way.

Tomorrow: final round of interviews followed by a 5pm puff of white smoke.

Then Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday getting players in.
