Marcelo Bielsa or Sean Dyche?

Out of all the possible managerial options that have been mentioned, I genuinely don’t know who I want, but what I do know, is that I don’t want Dyche. So out of these 2 it has to be Bielsa for me.

Literally the only good goal he’s ever scored. Considering he’s only scored like 9 in his career. He was atrocious last season for Burnley also then Everton sign him because we are the stupidest club in the league.

Is nobody else concerned that this squad will be asked to play man for man high press all across the pitch... to put that in context, last few times we did that under Frank (off the top of my head)....

Well there is a bit more to it than that. Non football reasons. He did pretty well at marseille with the football.
Lazio and lille were non football things. He was only at lazio for two days ?

Marseille he got off after 1 game into a new season saying he'd finished his work there.

That these two are the apparent choices shows the absolute lack of any strategy at all. Diametrically opposed. No consideration of the players at their disposal.

Yeah that's the gamble it could be brilliant it could be kamikaze stuff with Bielsa but tbh I'm that bored watching this team let's try and win some games. If not I am fine with Dyche too my only issue with him is he would make us hard to beat bit we won't score many goals, it will be another struggle to safety, Bielsa is mad enough to win three and lose three but those wins get us safe. Neither are ideal but you don't get that in our current position and half way through the season

He's a maverick who we're almost having to get in a headlock to get him to come.

Based on what?

He'd a hero at Leeds because he promoted them at second time of asking after 16 years. If I recall he was going to jib them after failing first time round.

Other than promoting Leeds I only see bad things in his club career.

Shared my view earlier;

I think out of the two, all considered - that being who gives us the best chance of staying up - Dyche is the right, pragmatic choice. If we go down, he'll probably be lashed but if not, he's had 2 goes at promotion before and twice been promoted.

Bielsa, my immediate instinct was 'with this team?!' and a big swerve.

I've slowly convinced myself he'd be alright, but nah.

Go an look at his club career.

Quit one game into the season at Marseille - "I have finished my work here, I want to go home". Left Lazio after 2 days. Lille he lasted a few months. Same with Espanyol - joined July, got off in September.

He's a maverick, an if he couldnt be arsed with Marseille, Lazio an Espanyol - at 67 I'm not sure he'll be arsed with our nonsense.

Also have to consider motivation for the job. Dyche would love the job. Bielsa, is giving me Koeman vibes. All the reports are us having to convince him.

Ask me later an I'll be saying swerve Dyche an go Bielsa.

The big issue is the club needed to make changes much sooner - whoever we bring in now is on a hiding to nothing.

Im a little like that. Everton have been as dull as dishwater for so long. Dyche will be even duller than dishwater. And this theory get him in because he will keep us up. Im not convinced by that.

I dont know tbh. Its a really big call.

True it could go either way the thing with Frank's press though is tactically it was a void in midfield Bielsa is very tactical he packs the midfield and they press high, even if it can be gung-ho at times it's true. There's no in between with Bilesa it's either good or terrible. He would need at least three players for a kick off. Dyche could probably work with what he has but he makes team's solid he doesn't improve attacking and that's our weakness? It's a hard decision. I just go Bielsa because we need to win games at home and nick points away especially if we are to stay up and if we don't he implements a ideology we could take on with another manager after him
