January Transfer Window 2023

The club was happy enough to start the first five games of the season without a striker.
Club now seems happy to go without desperately needed reinforcements until the end of the window.

We aren't good enough to write off 8/9/10 games and will deservedly get relegated.
I thought it was complete and utter madness at the time. the second thing that popped into my mind was a weak manager.

what an opportunity he had to publicly call out for the need for quality replacements etc and put huge pressure on the board and club to honour that. it was perfect timing for him to do so. no fit quality forward. laughable. dcl is injury prone and the no one foresaw an injury is completely ridiculous.

he would have had huge backing from the fans. and therefore win the first real power play between himself and the board.

he failed in that and never recovered. fantastic winner of a player. comes across as a weak manager.

Really doesn’t matter who we sign because under a manager with no strategic thinking and no plan. It won’t matter we will still be able conceive back to back goals within 7 minutes.

Sack the toxic fans & board

I love how fans not wanting to be relegated and being sick of a terrible prehistoric board.

Fans who just last weekend did a huge bus welcome for the team and fully supported them throughout all of the game despite 90% of the team looking like they couldn't be arsed. Then giving the one lad that did play his backside off a standing ovation.

That fanbase is suddenly labeled as toxic. I find that claim baffling and furthermore I'd presume anyone with that attitude has only interacted with fans via social media.

Those who harassed and confronted the players will do the Club no good when attracting and signing new players.

I think it’s more the toxic attitude towards the players week in week out that he is referring
