We lack guile, professionalism, & integrity.

We've been staring into the abyss for many a season - not one person knows how to prevent the slide.

Shortsighted hire/fire mentality just papers over cracks. We get a short upturn in form before the yearly failings comeback to roost.

Unless sold, the direction of this club doesn't alter outside of small, every decreasing moments of reprise.

He'll be sacked if Moyes becomes available imo (which looks likely)

I think Moyes on an interim deal until the end of the season to keep us up wouldn’t be the worst play ever. He’s probably the only manager outside of the elite of the game (which I doubt will be interested in us now) who would have enough credit with Everton fans to keep the pressure off his back if it didn’t turn around quickly. He’d also make the best of the limited resources we have and at least play pragmatically to get the points we need.

I can see West Ham beating us though and Moyes staying.

Yeah what I'm saying depends on if West Ham pull the trigger on Moyes tonight or tomorrow as obv if he gets the next game and wins then he keeps his job and same goes for Lampard if he wins.

Should just dub the game "El Sackico"

In his post match press interview yesterday, Lampard looked a broken man. He can't get much out of them players even though 4 of yesterdays team were his signings. He's brought in Tardowski, Coady, Onana, Garner, Vinagre, Maupay, Gueye and McNeill so must have had an idea how he was going to play with them in the team and improve the team from last year. We've gone from one of the best defences early in the season to one of the worst. We've lost at home to two of those around us down the bottom - Wolves and now Southampton - after going in front in both games. We got mauled by Brighton at home. It really isn't looked good for his stay as our manager. Last season the supporters really were the twelfth man and pulled us over the line to safety. I think getting a new manger in is the only hope we have to stay in the prem., which is an uphill task as it stands.

And no Richarlison, don’t even see the upturn in form unless we get quality additions which look like they won’t happen.
