Disagree, the squad is as bad as the position it’s in. Coleman’s and Mykolenko are as poor as any fullbacks in the league. There are no goals in midfield, little creativity. Gray, McNeil, Gordon wouldn’t get close to starting for other teams in the league.

People need to stop kidding themselves, this is a bottom three squad. It was last season, it is even more so this season. The board have got us to this stage through years of mismanagement.

Their plan this season was to cross fingers and hope. It’s all on them.

You might be right.

Just find it hard to accept there's not a more experienced, tactically astute manager that couldn't pick up few more wins/draws with the players we've got.

People have wanted him to chop and change tactics though haven't they?

He does have to go, nobody is saying otherwise. But this side goes down or at the very least is in a scrap all the way through to May. It simply is not good enough.
I don't disagree long struggle to stay up whoever the manager is. We need a goal scorer as much as a new manager. I get he is trying things but he also keeps changing statistically from pressing to sit in, from passing style to direct and formation wise even when we got a good result with 532 he changed it to 433, the next week which has rarely worked this season, I'm convinced some players are confused. Also his in game management is chronic. Again yesterday Saints took the initiative second half by making changes early, he sat on his hands.

The Red Echo reports that West Ham recognize that top managers like Tuchel and Poch will not come and they need to engage a fire fighter there. Moyes days there are coming to an end. Sounds like we will have to compete for the likes of Dyche etc.

The reality is, as unusual as this is for a football club, the owners performance has been poor, the BoD’s performance has been poor, the DoF, Manager and coaching teams performance has been poor and the players have been poor, but the manager and players are two levels where a change or changes made can have an immediate impact to save us from the drop - it simply reflects a club distracted with the new stadium, and a culture of failure and tolerance of such failure

We waited too long. Both Wolves and Villa recognised their managers were failing and sacked them to appoint two really good managers.

We're in the bargain basement now because we're in such an unattractive position. That said, I'd take Moyes back tomorrow.
