Well, we won't have a new manager. Sir Frank of Lampard will still be at the helm, and we'll lose of course, and he still won't get fired. Relegation has already been accepted by the board.

No decent player would come here right now. The agents will be advising strongly against it.

The only ones that will come are the ones who wouldn’t normally get a chance to play fir us because they aren’t good enough.

I wonder if maybe there is an outside chance for Connor Gallagher on loan if Chelsea continue to splurge. He does not suite them and has the history with Frank. He has the high energy game that would go down well with us

So do several other clubs, most of whom have a much more realistic chance of being in the top flight next year. I don't doubt we could attract some mediocre players,, but, we've got plenty of them already

What do you think happens preseason? Loaned players return to their parent clubs before going out again. I am not saying they have worked together extensively but they will have a relationship that can be leveraged

I can see it now, WH sack Moyes, we sack Lampard, we appoint Moyes (another Everton first where we sack one manager for being in the relegation zone, and bring in a replacement who is in the relegation zone) and then West Ham appoint a decent manager (not Lampard) and avoid relegation
