Maybe he doesn't trust the chairman because he can see things that we the fans can't.
No, he trusts the chairman, he just wants to.play Football Club Owner, to make up for a lost childhood, not being allowed to get involved at Arsenal

No, he proved he could listen to advice on Moyes (fair play to him on that) but he also proved that big time financing and the running of a large scale sporting enterprise are quite different to the theatre and are well beyond his comfort zone.

How is he refusing to let the chairman run the club?

And if that was really happening, even a semi competent chairman would just walk in protest.
He should walk away but he feels like he us walking out on Everton if he does, besides, the way Moshiri does things I can't see the helping us

Tom Cleverley: free transfer to us - got £8M for him.

That was how Everton operated....Everton BC, that is - Before Crackpot.

Niasse, £13.5m - left on a free

Lennon, £5m - sold for £1m

Mccarthy, £13m - sold for £2m

Tarashaj £4m - left on a free

Besic, £5m - left on a free

Kone, £6m - left on a free

Joel, £4m - left on a free

Mcgeady £2m, - sold for £200k

Let's be honest before Moshiri we were still crap at selling players.

Moyes was the last time we consistently made money on players and that had sod all to do with anyone but moyes.

Benitez put a stop to Nunes, Dumfries and Diaz.

Yes but don't worry, because in Carlings123 world Benitez saved us from spending on quality players such as them which would have killed the club and instead was more prudent to spend 30m on Mykolenko and Patterson in the January window and also froze out the only fella who could actually pass a ball in Rodriguez during the summer...oh and ensure Digne had to leave as well.

i wish he would, but its hard to say that would automatically help our situation when you consider what an idiot Moshiri is

But he clearly agrees with that idiot, as hes stayed his chairman for nearly 7 years, and sold the club to him. He is completely implicated. Theres no way, he can claim to be in opposition to Moshiri and remain in post.

He either makes all the calls, or agrees with the direction.

Essentially hes either a cowardly Chairman or an inept one. Either way, its simply not good enough.

Moyes bailed him out previously. That's it.

Not quite sure what point you're trying to make, but I don't think you are either.
If Farhad Moshiri wants to employ someone to do a job for a business he owns, another employee in that same business has no say in the matter
Why are you so defensive against billy? Are you a relative ( genuine question )

He isn't just an employee though he's the chairman of the football club, of course he had a say on benitez, he could have been against it, but if he REALLY pushed against it, he wouldn't have been hired.

He's a rat and should be the very first person to go
