We have 6 centre half's currently.
3 won't leave this window.
So forgive me for not getting excited about signing a 33 year old centre half when we are the 2nd worst attacking team in the league
But you keep on clapping.

You will be the first crying when we let 2 go and bring none in.

Jesus, all this over a cheap, short term option at the back.

If we go with 3 at the back like you all want, don't we need actual players in that position !?!?!

To say no poor players have ever player premier league football is mental.
In fairness it's relative but it's still silly to say. That's like saying there's never been a bad team in the Premier League, yes I'm sure that 2007 Derby side that got 11 points would absolutely batter any of our Sunday League teams becasue obviously we're massively crap compared to professional players but they were an absolutely attrocious set of players.

So it's sort of correct to say no poor players ever make it to the PL but that's only when you consider the whole hierarchy of football, relative to the level of the PL there's absolutely been utterly crap useless players, even if they would run rings around all of us here on any given weekend.

But a lot of fans are contradicting themselves with this line of thinking.

Fans want business to be done...

But if we're skint or theres no good players available then if that business means players like McNeil then fans would rather we not do business...

But if we dont do business then Kevs a lazy dosser....

But if does sign a Maupay or McNeil on the drip then he's a crap DOF.
No. You can be short in some positions and sign squad bodies who are inferior to your starting players.

But McNeil is below the quality of most Championship starting XI players. He is truly awful and his weaknesses are far too severe to allow him to play PL football effectively (too slow, too one footed, not fit enough, mentally weak, no output, no strength). And this was clear to anyone who had ever watched the lad.

Even that moron Dyche realised he was a liability in the end. Heard lots of stuff from people I know who support Burnley that it was felt he lacked heart etc. He can't even deliver decent corners/wide free kicks (despite his weaknesses Sigurdsson used to at least manage that and most of us didn't like him either) with his 'wand of a left foot.'

I think a lot of people who have never made the grade as a pro footballer could have joggerd about a bit with no pressure on them to press, create, shoot, deliver excellent set-pieces, or even try and use their weaker foot.

Burnley would not have been able to believe their luck when we came calling for McNeil. It is truly one of the worst signings the club has ever made (and we've made loads of appalling ones). he does not provide squad competition and should have been avoided altogether.

Are you referring to yourself? Look at the way you’re ejaculating all over Rondon’s thread when we sign him.

This is EXACTLY what i mean.

To me the world does not stop / start and revolve around the Premier league.

I go watching League 1, Non-League, amateur parks footy and u18 football at different levels.

Yeah but we don't exactly say bad players in the Premier League aren't poor cause they're better than the Kirkdale powerleague 5aside players.
