I'm not actually suggesting that.I think Potter's showing he might not be the instant impact guy we need...
Although we go down, he could be someone that could work with youth on a small budget. Worse options.

Same with Moyes at MUFCPotter would have a lot of upside.
He seems totally unsuited to a club like Chelsea, but we are a different kettle of fish. Does he become a bad coach in 6 months?

In what world are we a different club. We are exactly what Chelsea are since Boehly took over.Potter would have a lot of upside.

Nope, I don't think so. That Silva guy at Fulham can clearly set a team up tooPotter would have a lot of upside.

A club with no transfer plan, an unbalanced squad and a lunatic owner.
Moyes got sacked at United after about a year.Same with Moyes at MUFC
His ability to coach doesn’t change, but seeing his previous side improve without him does pose a question surely?Potter would have a lot of upside.

It's just time. Not sure why people always expect managers to move to a new club and just hit the ground running every time. If you moved jobs to the other side of the country, whole new set of colleagues, line managers, duties maybe etc. are you going to be comfortable straight away?
If it weren't for the millions they make getting sacked I'd say being a manager is one of the roughest jobs in football.
