31 in July…in a year or so he regresses then we will moan as to why the Club wasting money on an ageing player…we never learn etc.
When you have little money. What do you want the club to do, take a punt on a youngster from
The championship or abroad, we’ve seen With Onana how youngsters are inconsistent, we don’t need that now. Leeds buying rutter for something like 30mil who we were linked with last year, he has 2 goals in the German league this season

See how far this Club has gone backwards. A then 31 years old aging striker to be our saviour? Wasting yet another £15m on an average height striker to lead the line? Not for me.

Again you need to look at the situation we find ourselves in,
If he keeps us up then it will be worth it and I’d be more confident with him,
Than a couple of youngsters from the championship. Go back to 99 and it was a 29yr old experienced
Centre forward that came in and saved us then

“journalist “ dean jones seems to think we will need to offer £20m for Danny Ings to pry him away from Aston Villa… for the love of God please tell me we are not going to spend £20m on a 30 year old striker with bad knees, no resale value rather than a player like Moffi, Diaz, Gyokeres or any number of young mobile strikers who we have been linked with?!

Moffi would cost you more than 20 millions...probably close to 30 millions...not sure about the others, but Coventry has already said that they do not want gyokeres to leave in this window...so 20 millions might not be enough to convince them to sell the player. 20 millions for ings is a huge gamble as I am sure he would be earning in excess of 100k a week. At this stage there are no other options...we need to gamble as our survival this season depends on it.

If we weren’t in a relegation scrap then they should be the players targeted, but we’re and I wouldn’t pay 20, but definitely 10mil for ings.
Gyokeres and Diaz have Much worse goals per games in the championship than maupay and Armstrong has a much better record at Blackburn than Diaz and he’s struggled at Southampton. Diaz and gyokeres are also both. 23/24. Gyokeres at 22 was at Brighton with maupay and didn’t make one appearance, that’s not to say hasn’t kicked on and is it will be a better all round striker.

I just think we can’t take punts Right now.
Maybe on a 3rd player to come off the bench, if we get the first two right in terms of Players coming in as starters

This geezer's still waiting...
