Id have sacked lampard if he had that squad.
Havent got any issue him going. But if the new manager and board dont pull their finger out in the next few weeks then nothing much will change.
Unai emery walked into quite a decent squad with a forward line.
We need a new manager and a couple of new forward players, we have time now, last year Lampard came in on deadline day.

18th.
3 wins in 18.
Lost 19 in 36.
Enough is enough.
And looks like the board has no plan after losing to Bournemouth for 1-7 in two games.
Sack the board we need proper football people to run the club.
That record is terrible. I know he has had injuries, but the squad is better than that return.

I like the guy, but we are getting worse.

Because we are developing a horrendous reputation within the game and players/managers don't want to come anywhere within 500 yards of us. Far too much focus has gone into that stupid bloody stadium when the team needed sorting first.
You don't think millions of pounds in wages and a huge severance package in the result of a sacking, can attract anyone. I think you're wrong and also, managers are egotists, they'll all think they're the one to change our fortunes.

Let's face it, if a manger is holding out for a trophy winning side, there's very few too choose from these days. Don't underestimate the pull of huge money.

It was abundantly clear after 'The Bournemouth Week' that Lampard wasn't up to the job - We then had the huge advantage of having an enforced winter break giving us the opportunity to bed in a new manager.

That new manager would have then been blessed with Wolves, Brighton and Southampton at home at the start of their tenure

We've completely cocked this up - and it's potentially too late to do anything now

I like Frank too but I don’t want my beloved club to relegate.
Yep, I’d have sacked him after the game like Gerrard was. That was a 5-2 Benitez moment not acceptable.

He is not solely to blame, Board and players mainly, but changing system all the time after getting a good result on Saturday doesn’t make sense.

I seriously am having doubts on that.
Im trying. But watching them is making it so hard to believe otherwise. Bit of huff n puff at times. But i just cant see anything of quality.

Nope, I had a conversation with an ex-colleague who works in the UK sports media a couple of days ago and nobody with any cred has a decent word to say about us hence we are being linked with the likes of Dyche and current favourite is Rooney.

I know what you mean, just think a better manager sets them up in a way to get better results.

This! ??

I don't think the club can afford the pay offs, Lampard has a massive backroom staff and both he and they have 18 months of their contracts to run. If we sack Lampard, the compo would probably mean that any new manager could not even afford to borrow a decent player. We would be reduced to taking very cheap free agents who wanted neither a long contract nor a high wage.

It's either that or Moshiri decides to ignore the p&l regulations, pays Lampard and his staff off, bankrolls a couple of signings for the new man and accepts the consequences from the PL.

I'm hoping thats not the case. One reason for Lamps being brought in was he was a cheaper option on the pretense that if it went tits up, there wouldn't be as big of compensation compared the to the £11mill we gave the Waiter.

As for FFP...I read the league have eased off us now so there's possible wiggle room. Especially if we offload Mina, Holgate, Keane and possibly Pickford in the summer

We need someone who can get the best out of dross.

Probably Dyche amongst the available list.

Even bloody Rooney would be getting a better tune out of these than Frank. He at least had Derby county fighting for it and they didn't even have travel for some matches and weren't getting paid

Doucoure is another who will be gone in the summer if not before.
